Julie's Gift Soap grew from our desire to give a small token of our appreciation to our loyal renters at A & J Villas. We didn't expect the soaps to be so beautiful and we certainly didn't expect to begin doing this, but things happen for a reason and we found that we enjoy making the soaps and hope you enjoy using or displaying them. Each bar of soap is individually crafted making each unique. This will cause the colors to vary (not to mention everyone's computer screen is different). In order to protect the soap from moisture all soaps are packaged in cellophane bags. In order to show the detail in the design the pictures on the website do not show the soap in bags. We've decided to use PayPal to process our orders. We've done this for one important reason and that is the security of our customers. Being a small self-run website, we feel payments are best handled by larger, more established sites that can insure your security and privacy. Each bar or soap is made from vegetable glycerin, FD&C coloring, mica coloring and fragrant oils. Each bar of Julie’s Gift Soap is individually crafted and made from vegetable glycerin and may contain: FD&C cosmetic grade coloring, cosmetic grade mica coloring, essential oils, fragrant oils. Loofah soaps contains a piece of natural vegetable loofah. Toy soaps contain plastic toy. Please note that all bars of soap, whether they have a plastic toy in them or not, should be supervised with children. Because of their high glycerin content, the soaps are very moisturizing to the skin. Unfortunately, this high glycerin content also means that the soaps will dissolve more rapidly in water than soaps with less glycerin. Please use a soap dish that allows the bar of soap to drain and dry – and not sit in water. Also, because of their high glycerin content, if you are using the soap as decoration and the bar of soap is left exposed to air, it may attract moisture and "glisten" with beads of ambient moisture. This does not affect the quality of the soap. To “restore” the appearance of the soap, you can gently wipe the soap with a paper towel or a washcloth and rewrap the soap in plastic wrap/bag.
